Grace and Peace be with you!  I, Pastor David have been a part of the United Methodist Denomination my whole life, as I am the son of a United Methodist Pastor.  Serving as the Pastor here at Frist United Methodist Church is a great honor.  For years I owned and operated a Landscape Design and Construction company.  I remember my dad asking me about being a United Methodist Pastor on many occasions.  I responded by saying there are some things that I will never do, and being a United Methodist Pastor was one of them. Yet there was something missing in my life and in December 2008 I answered the call to Licensed Ministry in the United Methodist Church.  I attended Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington DC.  I have served in many different roles, as a program director for Non-Profits, Senior Pastor throughout the Michigan Conference. 

I have a great partner in mission, ministry, and life with my beautiful wife, Robin.  Together we have our version of the "Brady Bunch" with six kids and a total of ten grandchildren.  Again, it is a great honor serving as your Pastor here at First United Methodist Church of Pigeon and I am looking forward to the opportunity to continue to build relationships in our community.  In the words of the Apostle Paul, "Faith, Hope, and Love abide in these three, but the greatest of these is Love."  Pastor David Leineke
